Audience Etiquette helps make everyone's Festival experience a positive one!
Please respect all Festival-goers by bringing children who are within the recommended age for each show.
Please be prepared to remove your children from the theatre if they cry or become disruptive.
Allow time to park.
Arrive on time for your show. Latecomers will be admitted ONLY if there is a suitable break in the performance.
Go to the washroom before entering the theatre. You can disrupt the performance for everyone by entering and leaving during the show. Some more intimate shows may not allow for re-entry once a performance has begun.
Plan to stay for the entire performance.
Help your children to understand the difference between "listening shows" such as theatre presentations, and "participatory shows" such as music performances.
Audience members can show respect for performers and other audience members by not talking or moving from their seats unless the performer invites them to participate.
No camera, recording devices, cellular phones, hand-held video games, food or drink in the theatres, please.
If you liked what you saw during the performance, the performers love to hear your applause at the end of the show.
