Rich in culture and inspired by two traditional Iroquois stories about natural medicine, Medicine Bear celebrates Iroquois song,
dance, storytelling, imagery and philosophical tenets. "How the Bear Clan became known as the 'Keeper of the Medicines'" and
"The Young Hunter who Discovered the Gift of Medicine" are woven together in a playful manner. Virtues of compassion, respect,
caring, healing, and generosity infuse this uplifting theatrical work.
