The Man Who Planted Trees

The Man Who Planted Trees
Puppet State Theatre Company, Scotland

"It is very, very rare to find something that appeals as effortlessly to children and adults as this magical show." The Scotsman

The Man Who Planted Trees This captivating adaptation of Jean Giono's environmental tale and 2010 Festival gem is back! A French shepherd sets out with his dog to "put things right" by planting a forest and transforming a barren wasteland. Hear the wind, feel the rain, smell the lavender in this multi-sensory theatrical delight. An unforgettable story that shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world. A unique blend of comedy, puppetry and inspiring storytelling. Winner of the 2009 Total Theatre Award for Story Theatre.
