Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience

"Terrance Simien is universally acclaimed as one of the most exciting zydeco performers in America."
Boston Patriot

Terrance Simien, who has shared the stage with Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Robert Palmer, Los Lobos, and Dave Matthews Band, is a Zydeco Master dedicated to keeping the indigenous music of his native Creole culture alive. Through a collection of mostly original songs, Creole for Kidz & The History of Zydeco has reached over 200,000 K-12 students across four continents. This unique multicultural music experience is mixed with a touch of history recalling the early days of Zydeco, who the Creoles are, the origins of the word zydeco, and the meaning of the Mardi Gras. Terrance Simien’s music offers a colourful celebration of one of the most vibrant cultures in North America.
